Lately, I’ve been reviewing the many mistakes I made as I learned to make money blogging. It’s humbling! I started in 2008, and it took until the end of 2011 to get any real traction, in terms of earning.
Technology certainly created a period of prosperity for writers all around the world. Before the advent of the Web making money as a freelance writer was relatively difficult, because you had a limited number of local publications to work with.
